Our story
Cadanti AI was founded by David Gomez. About twenty years in technology, fifteen of them as an engineer — currently a software engineer at Google working on the production network, where a large part of the job is workflow automation of existing processes. Before that: network engineering at a game studio, at an ad-tech company, and at Verizon Business. And before any of it, five years on a retail helpdesk — store registers, failed overnight jobs, payment lines — which is where you learn what “the same problem every week” actually costs the person absorbing it.
The pattern repeated in every one of those places, at every size: highly capable people spending most of their time on work that was genuinely automatable, if anyone had bothered to design the automation carefully.
The insight isn’t original. But the execution usually is. Most automation projects fail not because the technology doesn’t work, but because the problem was underspecified. Someone bought a platform, pointed it at a vague process, and called it done. The result was a system that required as much human oversight as the original process.
We built the audit-first model because the diagnostic is where automation actually succeeds or fails. If you understand the process precisely — the exceptions, the edge cases, the data quality, the decision logic — you can build an agent that handles it reliably. If you don’t, you can’t.

We don't deploy agents until we understand the problem. The audit earns the right to build. This isn't a sales tactic — it's how you avoid building the wrong thing.
Fixed scope, fixed price
Time-and-materials billing puts the risk on the client. We scope pilots carefully and quote a fixed price — you know what you're spending before work begins.
Honest about fit
Some operations aren't ready for AI agents — the data isn't clean, the process isn't defined, or the volume doesn't justify the build. We'll tell you this during the audit, not after the pilot.
You own the output
The agent code, the documentation, the runbooks — yours outright. No vendor lock-in. We grow with you only if we're earning it.
